Birth Doula Services by Star

Hello!

My name is Pamela Star, but my parents (at the end of the hippy era, who gave me my very own last name instead of the family name) were calling me Star since infancy.  The nickname stuck. 

Why am I a Doula?

The short answer is this:  I want to help women and their partners have more positive birth experiences.  I've learned that a woman usually looks back on her birth positively when she feels supported (physically and emotionally), respected, and included in decision-making after being well-informed.

As a mother, knowing the magic and fulfillment of having a child, I'm honored to be present for the moment my clients become parents. 

I LOVE my job.  I'm so thrilled to have found what I know is my calling.

 How long have I been a doula?
